Virginia L. Terlisner

Virginia L. Terlisner, 84, of Mason City died on Friday, November 17, 2023, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Virginia L. Terlisner was born on August 21, 1939, to Herman and Dorothy (Hood) Legler. She grew up in Mason City with three sisters and one brother. On September 14, 1964, she was united in marriage to Ron Terlisner. Together the couple had one son.

For over 40 years Viriginia worked for the IOOF Home. Virginia enjoyed her yearly vacation to Florida with her sisters before her retirement and she always enjoyed planting flowers in her backyard.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Ron Terlisner; daughter-in-law, Julie Terlisner; sister, Vicki (Wendel) Corey; grandchildren, Joe Terlisner, Shawn (Dawn) McKibben, Chris (Stacy) McKibben; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kim Terlisner; siblings, Karen Boehnke, Dixie Bouck, Robert Legler; parents, Herman, and Dorothy Legler; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Connie Terlisner.
