Marie Wilhelmine Schmidt, 84, of 501 S. Kentucky Avenue, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at the Heritage Care Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday at St. James Lutheran Church, 1148 ? 4th Street SE with Pastor Paul Nelson officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue and continue at the church one hour before the service. Memorials may be given to the Marie Schmidt Memorial Fund.
