Linda K. Jensen

Linda K. Jensen, 79, of Mason City, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the I.O.O.F. Home. Inurnment will take place at Honey Creek Cemetery in New Providence, Iowa on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Lutheran Church in Mason City or to the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank in Linda’s honor.

Linda Kay Jensen was born in Des Moines, Iowa on October 27, 1946 to James M. Jensen Jr. and Isabel R. (Howland) Jensen. The fourth of five children, Linda graduated from Carroll High School in 1964. Shortly after, she began working for A.C. Nielsen in marketing research. While she began her employment in Mason City, she moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin for this position in 1990, where she spent the remainder of her over 40-year career with the company. Upon retirement, Linda returned to Mason City in 2015, where she spent the rest of her years.

In her spare time, Linda enjoyed going out with her friends. She especially treasured time spent with her beloved puppy, Katy, who she raised from birth until her passing at the age of 14.

Linda is survived by her siblings, Jerry (Linda) Jensen, Ron (Myrna) Jensen, and Pam (Dan) Kessler; and her nieces and nephews, Diana Coulthard, Mark Jensen, Teresa Brandau, Stacy Jensen, Jeremy Jensen, and Matthew Jensen.

In death, she is reunited with her parents, James and Isabel Jensen; her brother, Robert Jensen; and her four-legged companion of 14 years, Katy.
