Lillian M. Naussner, 85, of 2700 North Shore Drive, Clear Lake died Sunday (March 16, 2003) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Audrey Young, Ventura United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home and continue Wednesday till time of service. Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Iowa or Good Shepherd Health Center Telephone Reassurance. Lillian was born May 17, 1917 in Kanawha, Iowa the daughter of Severt and Ragnhild (Nerheim) Jacobson. She was confirmed at the Kanawha Lutheran Church, Kanawha. She graduated from Kanawha High School then taught rural school for one year. Lillian moved to Chicago, Illinois where she worked as a claims adjuster for the Social Security Administration for 30 years. While in Chicago, she married Al Naussner. She retired from civil service in 1972 then moved to Clear Lake in 1976 where she has resided since. Lillian enjoyed reading, was the caretaker for her brother, 2 older sisters and loved being with her family. She was a member of Ventura United Methodist Church. She is survived by a sister; Selma Braun of Mankato, MN, 2 nephews and a niece; Ronald Dempsey and wife Jan of Clear Lake, Steve Braun and wife Nancy of Mankato, MN, Noreen Roberts and husband Loren of Mankato, MN; several great and great-great nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Al Naussner, step-son, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a great nephew.
