Kaylin Naomi Ingersoll

Kaylin Naomi Ingersoll, 34, of Mason City, Iowa, left us far too soon. 

She was born on January 20, 1991, in Waverly, Iowa, and grew up in Charles City, graduating from Charles City High School. To those who knew her best, she was simply “KK.” She was a fighter who lived with chronic pain but never let it take away her humor, her loyalty, or her strength. She claimed she didn’t want kids, but anyone who saw her with them knew better she was patient and caring. She was an awesome aunt. She wouldn’t hurt a fly, and she had a special bond with animals. KK loved to draw, keep fit, and when her health allowed, she found joy in the gym. She also loved going to movies with her boyfriend and never missed a chance to enjoy live music at concerts. 

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents. 

She is survived by her loving mother, Candice Ingersoll; siblings, Larissa, Jennie, and Ryan Ingersoll; her nephews, Giovanni Flores-Ingersoll and Ramon Flores Jr.; her nieces, Mara Ingersoll and Gabriella Flores-Ingersoll; her grandparents, Russell and Teddi Ingersoll; her best friend who is also her significant other, Trenton Thompson; and extended family.  

Services will be announced at a later date. KK lived her life on her own terms, unapologetically herself, and that is how she will always be remembered. Kaylin will always be in our hearts forever.
