Justin Robert Hendrickson

January 12, 1987 — February 3, 2019

Justin Hendrickson, 32, of Mason City, died Sunday, February 3, 2019.

Memorial services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Clear Lake Open Bible Church, 509 S. 17th St., with the Pastor Will Hunsaker officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 PM Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, Iowa.

Justin was born January 12, 1987 the son of Robert ‘Bob’ and Katherine ‘Kathy’ (Workman) Hendrickson in Mason City, Iowa.

Growing up Justin enjoyed exploring the woods they had on their acreage. Also riding the ATV while playing dodgeball with his brother Jordan (at the same time). While in high school, Justin was known as "Big Henry". He was active in football and was the catcher on his baseball team. He graduated from Rockwell-Swaledale with the class of 2005. After high school Justin was a jack-of-all-trades. His favorite job was working at the windmill terminal in Manly. Most recently, he enjoyed working for Northern Cedar Services in Mason City. In his free time he enjoyed following the Atlanta Braves and the Chicago Bears. He liked to socialize with his friends at A Place 2 Be. He was also an amazing artist and liked to fabricate miniature metal works. Justin had a large love for family. He was proud of his Norwegian and German heritage. He was very educated in Norse Mythology and also took the time to learn some German language to speak to his Omi. His love for his family and heritage was most expressed through his tattoos. "Family Forever" was written boldly on his forearm and was a motto he stood for and lived by. Justin loved his time spent with his niece and nephews. Picking on them was his greatest joy, whether it be rough housing or trying to scare them. After a long week of work, Justin enjoyed coming home to his dog, Hudson Henry. What will be greatly missed is Justin's infectious smile and boisterous laugh. If Justin was laughing the whole room knew it was him.
