Jane Ellen Gildner

Jane Gildner, 91, of Mason City, passed away peacefully Friday, June 13, 2025, at Heritage Care Center in Mason City. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Grace Church, 440 N Illinois Ave, with Pastor Nick Daugherty officiating. A visitation will be held an hour prior at the church. Interment will be held in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be directed towards the Grace Church Missions.

She was born to Morris and Palma Olson July 26, 1933 in Forest City, Iowa.

She graduated from Forest City High School and then went to Hamilton Business College in Mason City. After graduating from college, she worked at KGLO TV and then later at Farm Credit.

She was married to Richard Gildner and they had two children.

Jane was active in her church, was a volunteer in scouting, Red Cross, and Hospice.

Left to cherish her memory are her son David Gildner (Cheryl), daughter Mary Gildner, two grandchildren, Erin (Justin) Eggleston and Ryan (Talia) Gildner, and three great grandchildren Connor Eggleston, Evan and Daniel Gildner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother
