Jim was a fun-loving man with an adventurous soul who never turned down a good time—even when it might not have been the best idea. A man of many trades and expansive skills, his fearless spirit, contagious laughter, and big heart drew people to him wherever he went. Above all else, Jim cherished his family. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, loving brother, and loyal friend. He is survived by his son James (Samantha) Prince and daughter Sheree (Chris) Smith; his eleven grandchildren: Dylan, Jocelyn, Carter, Dmitri, Ava, Preston, Masen and Braxton Prince; Joseph Smith; and Brody and Kayden Hitchcock. He is also survived by his sister Debbie (Larry) Varner, along with several nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who were blessed to know him.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Junice Prince, his brother, Stephen Prince, his brother-in-law, Fred Varner Sr., his nephew Fred Varner Jr., and his beloved son Tony Hitchcock – all of whom he now joins in eternal peace.
Jim will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
