Hazel O. Christiansen

MASON CITY: Hazel O. Christiansen, age 76, of Mason City, IA, died Monday, January 26, 2015, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 30, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church, 119 South Georgia, with Rev. Sean McRoberts officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. Interment will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville, IA. Hazel is survived by her husband, Clarion; children: Nancy Christiansen (Larsen), Becky Hedberg, Thomas (Kay) Christiansen, and Bill Christiansen; 18 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrel and Delma (Lowe) Huntley, and her sister, Lila Meyers.
