Claudia Ruth Johnson

Claudia Ruth Johnson, 67, of Mason City, died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Health Center.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Graves of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.

Claudia was born January 30, 1951 the daughter of John Abraham and Harriett Eleanor (Hermundsted) Johnson in Mason City, Iowa.

Claudia was a 1969 graduate of Mason City High School. Following graduation, she went on to graduate from the University of Wyoming and later Buena Vista University. Over the years she resided in Charles City, Iowa, Green Bay, Wisconsin and Mason City, Iowa.

Claudia was the manager of the bakery department at Perkins for many years as well as a substitute teacher.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Timothy Johnson.
