Ardith E. Klouse

Ardith Klouse, 90, of Mason City, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026 at the Nora Springs Care Center in Nora Springs, IA. Family will host a visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 30 at Major Erickson Funeral Home. Family burial will be held later at Little Cedar Cemetery in Adams, MN.

Ardith Elaine Neus was born on July 3, 1936 in Adams, MN to Bernie and Edith Neus. She was the oldest of three children. She graduated from Adams High School in Adams, MN in the Class of 1954.

Ardith was married to Ervin Klouse on June 26, 1954 at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams, MN. To this union, 5 children were born. She dedicated her life to raising her children, and will be remembered as a loving mother and friend.

She enjoyed perusing garage sales, reading, crossword puzzles, gardening and ‘beating’ Jeopardy on TV. She had various bookkeeping/clerical jobs around Mason City over the years. Ardith enjoyed attending the many activities her grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved in to show her love and support.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Curtis (Nan) Klouse, Craig (Janet) Klouse, Cheryl (Bob) Powell, Corey (Karen) Klouse and Chad Klouse. She has 12 grandchildren: Jason, Amber, Eric, Jennifer, Stefanie, Kristin, Katie, Danny, Megan, Sierra, Ashley and Taylor, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Arvid Neus and Arden Neus.
