Anthony Lynn Seiler

December 19, 1955 — February 26, 2020

Anthony "Tony" Lynn Seiler, 64, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. His life was full of laughter.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 12 to 3 pm at East Park, Shelter House #4 – just off of 4th Street NE (West of Deer Pen/top of the hill), Mason City, IA.

Anthony "Tony" Lynn Seiler, was born on December 19, 1955, in Azusa, California to parents James and Lois (Waters) Seiler. At a young age, Tony and his family moved to Colorado Springs. In 1975, Tony graduated from Wasson High School and then proudly joined the United States Marines Corps. He was stationed in Hawaii for four years and was honorably discharged in 1981. After serving, Tony moved to Iowa. He attended NIACC where he met Cheri Mihm. On July 12, 1986 they were married. He went to work as a press operator at Curtis 1000 until it's closing. Afterwards, Tony went to work as a semi truck driver.


Tony loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed playing with his dog Chase, turkey hunting, shooting, visiting his parent's mountain cabin, caring for his pet fish, and playing video games with his buddies. In addition, he had a love for Coca-Cola, Casey’s Pizza, China Buffet, and the Denver Broncos. Tony made an impression wherever he went and he will be most remembered for his quirky sense of humor immense love for his children and grandson.


Tony is survived by his children: Shanna (Josh) Savageau and their son Oden Anthony, Adam (Jackie) Seiler, Katie (Tim) Hanson and Sammy Seiler; his siblings, Rhonda Dassero, Paula DuPree, Barb Simons, Jim Seiler; other extended family; former spouse, Cheri Thomas. He was very much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends, especially the Gobeli family, Dennis, Jeff, Bob and Tom.

He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws: Phil Dupree, Tim Dassero; nephews, Shawn DuPree and Joey Simons.
