Sandra K. Wilson

Mason City Sandra K. Wilson, 64, of Mason City, died Wednesday (August 25, 2010) at Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa. There will be a celebration of her life and gathering of friends at East Park (shelter house #2) on Sunday, August 29, 2010, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Sandy was born in Davenport, Iowa on April 18, 1946 to Don and Nan Hesselink. She was co-valedictorian of M.C.H.S. Class of 1964 and educated at Grinnell College and Kansas University. She was united in marriage on January 25, 1969 with Barry Wilson and is survived by him, two sons: Zachary and Gabriel, Zachs wife: Annie, and their children: Lauren and Aidan, her brother: Mike Hesselink, and nephew: Luke Wilson. The family requests memorials be directed to Crisis Intervention where Sandy volunteered.
