RIDGE MANOR, FLORIDA: Ruth B. Halley, of Ridge Manor, Florida died Sunday, January 18 in Clermont, Florida. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, March 30, 2015 at the HANFORD COMMUNITY CHURCH, Hanford, Iowa with Dan Carlson officiating. Inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Hanford Community Church. Ruth Belle Halley was born March 13, 1929 in Fairmont, Martin County Minnesota she was the fourth of five daughters of Leo Orville Walker and Amber Wallace. Ruth graduated from Adams, Minnesota High School, class of 1947. Ruth married January 19, 1949 in Chicago, Cook County Illinois to M.C. 'Red' Halley. She was a member of Trilby United Methodist, Trilby Florida. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Donna (Bob) Scott, Rockford, Iowa and Jane (Kendall) Jass, Mascotte Florida; six grandchildren, Stacy Webber, State Center, Iowa, Heather (Bruce) Bailey, Mason City, Rob (Kim) Scott, Mason City, Kaine Jass, Albia, Iowa, Halley (David) Shultz, St. Petersburg, Florida and Gabrielle J. Jass, Mascotte, Florida; ten great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were here parents, her four sisters, Jean Walker; Gayle Rosenberry; Lois O'Brien; and Ruby Nething, her husband Melvin C. Halley, her daughter Amber Ten Hagen; one grandson Mark Webber, and three great grandchildren: Nathan, Zachery, and Alexis Jass.
