Hampton, IA Reuberta V. Kramer, 91, of Sheffield, IA, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at the Hampton Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, August 7, 2010 in Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield. Upon Reubertas wishes she was cremated and there will be no vistiation.\r\n
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Azheimers Association.\r\n
Reuberta was born on October 2, 1918, in Swaledale, IA the daughter of Charles and Addie (Engebretson) Walker. She attended school in the country school at Richland Center. \r\n
She was united in marriage to Ralph Kramer on September 2, 1939 at Eldora, IA. They farmed in the Sheffield area until 1960 when they moved to Hampton and built a home. Ralph was employed at Maytag Corp. in Hampton and Reuberta enjoyed her homemaker duties, taking care of small children, and cleaning homes in the area. In 1973 they relocated to Sheffield and during retirement enjoyed playing cards, dancing, camping and some traveling. Special trips included visiting Cedarburg, WI to see their daughter and two granddaughters and families.\r\n
Reuberta is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Ralph; daughter, Dixie Lee Prevost of Grafton, WI; two granddaughters, Michele Janasik (Gregg) of Cedarburg, WI, and Roxanne Hanson (Greg) of Dacula, GA; four great grandchildren, Brandon, Taylor and Ryan Janasik and Michael Hanson; two sisters, LaVera Bruns of Latimer and Verda Meyer of Sheffield, IA and one brother, Clyde (Bernice) Walker of Hampton, IA\r\n
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 infant sisters; son-in-law, Michael Prevost, and two brother-in-laws, Willis Meyer and Edd Bruns.\r\n
Special thanks from the family go to the Hampton Rehabilitation Center- Womens Unit and also Iowa Hospice for the special loving care that Reuberta received.

Memorials:
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Azheimers Association.

Cemetery:
Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield.

Visitation:
