Mason City: Rena “Gay” Wyatt, 93, of Mason City, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, July 9, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday (August 18, 2012) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. Inurnment will be held in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.majorericksonfuneralhome.com. Rena Wyatt was born November 30, 1918 in Mercer County, Missouri, the daughter of Fred G. and Gay (Cooper) Rushton. She graduated from Powersville High School in Powersville, MO. She was married to Carl Wyatt on September 6, 1936 in Ravanna, Missouri. She lived in Putman County, MO and Wayne County, IA until moving to Des Moines in 1952, then Mason City in 1966. She worked for Iowa Kemper as a Clerical Supervisor for thirteen years until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She will be in all our hearts forever and always loved. Gay is survived by her son, Richard Wyatt of Waverly, MN; grandson, Michael Wyatt and wife Annie of Norwell, MA, grandson, David Wyatt of Howard Lake, MN; granddaughter, Lisa Wyatt and husband James Blanchette of Van Nuys, CA; great grandchildren Graham, Olivia, Virginia and Tyler. Step granddaughter Jennifer O’Donnell and husband Paul of Monticello, MN, step granddaughter Courtney Jensvold and husband Jacob of Monticello, MN. Step great grandchildren Nick, Allana, Liam, Ella, Robert and step great great granddaughter Lily. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 sisters, Ruth, Letha, Ila and Ethlyn.

Cemetery:
Inurnment will be held in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank.

Service:
