Phyllis L. Creigh, 81 of Mason City died Sunday, April 11, 2004 at the I.O.O.F. Home. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Kathy Graves, Director of Spiritual Care, Hospice of North Iowa officiating. Inurnment will be in Elmwood Cemetery Columbarium. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa. Phyllis was born June 28, 1922 in Rochester, Minnesota the daughter of Harry D. and Nellie J. (Hanson) McIntosh. She attended school in the Rochester area and graduated from High School. Phyllis was an employee of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 43 years retiring on January 1, 1986. She was a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church and the Pioneer Club. Phyllis also did some volunteer work for Central Catholic. She loved to read, spend time with her grandchildren and her dog Meaghan. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Deborah D. Baker of Mason City; sister, Delores L. Smith of Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren, Daniel Baker and wife Mikki of Los Vegas, Nevada, Mark Baker of Mason City, Kristina Nodtvedt and husband Alex of Mason City; great grandchildren, Casey, Garrett and Bailey Baker and Andrew and Alexandra Nodtvedt; nieces Pamela Loeckle and husband Dennis of Mason City, Nancy Smith of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mary Plium and husband Art of Trinidad, California. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Joyce Chase.
