Patricia L. Bottone

MASON CITY Patricia L. Bottone, age 65, of Mason City, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8, 2010, at 10:30 AM at the Salvation Army, 747 Village Green Dr. S.W., with Major Gary Cole officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 7:00 PM on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Salvation Army. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Patricia L. Bottone Memorial Fund in care of the family.

Patricia was born January 7, 1945, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Donna (Francis) Bunday. She attended schools in Mason City. She was united in marriage to Andy Buttone on October11, 1997, in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Patricia enjoyed cooking, baking sugar cookies, going to the casino and playing cards, music, auctions, thrift stores and garage sales, and Minnesota Vikings. She loved surprising people with gifts and her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved the time she spent with her family and friends and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 12 years, Angelo (Andy) Buttone; children, Carrie (Doug) Peck of Altoona, IA, Chad McBride and special friend Stacy of Altoona, Travis (Tamara) McBride of Mason City, Jason (Crystal) McBride of Altoona, Leslie (Chad) Lyberger of Mason City, Justin McBride and fiance, Hitomi of Urbandale, IA; grandchildren, Courtney, Shaun, and Calen, Taylor, Dylan, Brandon, Michael, Nathan, and Cassidy, Ashley, Amber, Ethan, Lukas, Jakob, and Alicyn; stepchildren, Jon Bottone of Inland Florida, Tammie Voortman of Clear Lake, Brian Richardson of Charles City; step grandchildren, Rachel, Tara, Tiffany, Jordan and Josh, Jon, Janelle, and Chelsea; sisters, Linda (Dave) Clark of Mason City, Barb and Tammy Abrahams of Mason City, Deb (Mark) Christensen of Mason City; brother, Steven (Janet) Bunday of Battle Lake, MN; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepdaughter, Lori Banks.
