Norma Jean Frazier, 74, of 1523 South Coolidge Avenue, died Tuesday July 18, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday August 7, 2006 at Major Erickson Funeral Home with Mark Dobel officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. Memorials may be given to the Norma J. Frazier Memorial Fund. Norma J. Frazier was born October 16, 1931, the daughter of Elmo and Ella (Bockelman) Frazier in Clear Lake. Norma lived on the farm most of her younger life and attended country schools. She also attended Roosevelt School and graduated from Mason City High School. Norma was married and then later divorced. She has one son Dan L. Vasquez of Mason City. Norma worked for Mode-O-Day Company for 19 years, and after they closed, she worked for Alexander Manufacturing for 9 and a half years where she retired in October of 1996. Norma enjoyed attending country music concerts and bowling. She bowled for many years and attended many state and national tournaments. Norma also enjoyed riding horses, dogs, and cats, especially her special cat Tigger. Norma is survived by one son; Don L. Vasquez and special friend Candy Pitkin of Mason City; one niece, Linda Watkins of Albert Lea, Minnesota; two great-nephews, Tim and Ben Wallkens of Albert Lea, Minnesota.
