Nancy Ann Fransen

Nancy Ann Fransen, 60, of Mason City, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, May 20, 2016 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Pastor Nathan Gann, Rhythm Church officiating.

Nancy was born April 16, 1956 the daughter of Lyle and Rosalie (McCally) Phillips in Galesburg, Illinois.

Her love for her grandchildren was far and deep, she enjoyed making little wagers with them on football games. Nancy also loved poking fun at Mike when the Vikings were losing. She looked forward to her soaps and TV cooking shows during the day and watching American Idol and Dancing with the Stars in the evenings.

Those thankful for having shared in Nancy’s life include her two sons, James and Bradly Fransen, fiancé, Mike Fransen, two brothers, Eric and Derek Phillips, two sisters, Melody and Jeannie, four grandchildren, Kaity, Jayce, Maci and Josh McGuire, special friends, James Fransen, Linda Westendorf and many others.

Mrs. Fransen was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Kristy Fransen and a step son Cody Fransen.
