Mark T. English

Mark T. English, 53, of Mason City, IA, died Saturday, August 22, 2015, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, 30 minutes after his mother Coral passed. A Memorial service will be held for both Mark and Coral at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, with Pastor Ed Bard, Hospice of North Iowa Chaplain officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the memorial service.

Mark Thomas English was born August 23, 1961 in Mason City, IA the son of Max Cree and Coral (Grant) English. He attended Mason City High School. Mark worked as a janitorial engineer in Mason City where he lived his whole life. Mark was known for his great sense of humor and being the life of the party. Mark enjoyed spending time with his friends and having an ice cold Budweiser.

Mark is survived by 2 brothers: Kirk (Tracy) English of New Richland, MN, Bill English (Dawn Branstad) of Mason City; 5 nieces and 1 nephews: Kristina English of Mason City, Stephanie English of New Richland, MN, Heather English of New Richland, MN, Allison English of Rochester, MN, Elizabeth English of New Richland, MN, Josh English of Mason City; and 8 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Max Cree and Coral English, Uncle DeWayne Grant and maternal grandmother Grace Westendorf and Maternal Grandfather William (Bill) Grant.
