MASON CITY ? Marie A. Dahle, 85 of Mason City died Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 119 South Georgia Avenue with Rev. Jo Frahm Watkins officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue. Memorials may be directed to the Marie A. Dahle Memorial Fund. Major Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory (641)423-0924 is in charge of arrangements. Marie A. Dishon was born March 8, 1920 the daughter of James A. and Millie A. (Snyder) Dishon in Kensett. She attended school in Kensett and graduated from Kensett High School in 1938. Marie was united in marriage to Lloyd A. Dahle on May 22, 1939. They lived in Kensett and Northwood for several years before moving to Mason City in 1958. Marie worked as a seamstress for Mode O?Day for 17 years as well as a cook at Good Shepherd Health Center for seven years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mason City and also the Grandmother?s Club. Marie enjoyed spending time will all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Dorothy Nuehring of Mason City, Donnis Hansen and husband Bill of Jacksonville, Florida, Susanne Morris and husband Larry of Mason City; grandchildren: Roger Nuehring and wife Sue, Steve Nuehring and wife Julie, Nancy Nuehring all of Mason City, Bonnie Lindsey and husband Gary, Dan Trebilcock and wife Irene, Barbie Bosse and husband Rodney all of Tennessee, Mike Morris and wife Deb, and Jodi Eckhardt and husband Marty all of Mason City; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edna Dishon of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd in 1990, son-in-law, Richard Nuehring, brothers, Ralph, Elmer, Cecil and Dale Dishon and sister, Ruth Maney. Major Erickson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
