Lynn Marie Hamad

Lynn Marie Rathjen Hamad, 51 of Mason City, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 of Diabetic Complications at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Kenneth Gehling and Rev. G. Kim Wells officiating. Inurnment will take place in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Lynn M. Hamad Memorial Fund. Lynn was born July 10, 1954 in Mason City the daughter of Garth and JoAnn (Craig) Rathjen. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1972. Lynn was a life long resident of Mason City with the exception of the 13 years she lived in Plano, Texas. Lynn is survived by a son, Jason of Plano, Texas; parents, Garth and JoAnn Rathjen of Mason City; brother, Craig Rathjen and wife Nancy of Blaine, Minnesota; niece, Lindsey Wills and husband Dan; nephew, Matthew Rathjen; aunts and uncles, Dick and Fran Craig of Cleveland, Ohio, Jim and Grace Craig of Gulfport, Mississippi, Ed and Judy Craig of Waterloo, Roger and Evelyn Craig of Waterloo, Pat and Sherry Craig of Cedar Falls, Charleen (Perry) Dahlin of Isanti, Minnesota, Kathleen (Steve) Jensen of Wisconsin, Florence (Lee) Gaffney of Sumner, Monica (Dean) Cashman of Des Moines, Marie Schlorff of Waterloo, Joan Craig of Waterloo, Ruth Craig of Waterloo, Neola Wills of Pella, Neal and Maxine Rathjen of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; many cousins. Lynn was preceded in death by her grandparents, uncles, Bill, Tom and Bob Craig; aunt, Mildred.
