Lori A. Wander

Lori A. Wander, 56, of Mason City, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M., Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Major Erickson Funeral Home in Mason City with Rev. Paul Martin officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M., Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., and will resume one hour prior to services on Thursday.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Lori Ann Wander, the daughter of Donald Awe and Janice Basgall, was born January 8, 1963 in Mason City. She attended Mason City Community Schools. After high school, she worked various jobs in the area. On April 5, 1986 she was married to Kent Wander at St. James Lutheran Church in Mason City. They lived in Mason City most of their married life where they raised their family. Lori loved spending time with her family, especially, her grandchildren. She also enjoyed arts and crafts.

Lori is survived by her husband, Kent Wander, of Mason City; five children, Reed Barclay of Mason City, Amber Wander (fiancé, Danny Werner) of Mason City, Desiree (Cody) Bohl of Mason City, Sabre Wander of Mason City and Risa DeLeon of Mason City; and three grandchildren, Ayden Barclay, Tiana Bohl and Sage Campisi.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter, Janice.
