Linda J. Radcliff, 64, of Mason City, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorial services will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Pastor Kathy Graves officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday (April 11, 2013) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Linda Radcliff memorial fund in care of the family. Linda was born November 6, 1948, in Mason City, IA, the daughter of Fred and Marjorie (Harrison) Legler. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1967. On June 23, 1967, she married her high school sweetheart, Terry Radcliff. They later divorced. She later continued her education at NIACC – where she completed the Nursing Program. Linda worked as an LPN at the IOOF Home for 15 years before her recent retirement. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing with her granddogs, picnics, casino trips, sewing, reading and baking – especially her famous holiday sugar cookies. Linda is survived her children: Brian Radcliff and wife Shelly of Mason City, Brent Radcliff of Mason City, Tami Anderson and husband Joseph of Mason City; 4 grandchildren: Samantha Radcliff, Scott Radcliff, Ian Anderson, and Morgan Marshall; her mother: Marjorie Funk of Mason City; 3 siblings: Nancy Wise-Runnels of Mason City, Katherine Askeland of Mason City, and John Legler and wife Martha of Mason City; Godmother: Betty Legler of Mason City; and 3 Goddaughters: Carmen Jepsen of Mason City, Amy Legler of Mason City and Trinda Dight of Charles City. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and granddogs. She was preceded in death by her father: Fred Legler; twin brother: Larry Legler; brother: Fred Legler Junior; and sister: Mary Jane Badker. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, friend and father of her children: Terry Radcliff.

Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery

Memorials may be directed to the Linda Radcliff memorial fund in care of the family

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday (April 11, 2013) at Major Erickson Funeral Home
