LaVon G. Williams

LaVon Williams, 95, of Mason City, Iowa died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Health Center. In lieu of memorials, Lavon asks that you give a yellow rose to someone you love.

LaVon (Bonnie) Haven Williams was born in Masonville, Iowa on January 18, 1920 the daughter of William H. and Matie M. (Graham) Havens. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Williams on July 22, 1945 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

LaVon in survived by her children; Richard (Mary) Williams, Rhonda (Scott) Murray all of Mason City, Iowa, Rebecca Rice of Ames, Iowa, six grandchildren and six great grandsons.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, and her sister Wanda L. Myers.

LaVon has deeded her body to the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Per her request, there will be no memorial service at this time. Inurnment will be held in the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls, Iowa at a later date.
