Kenneth L. Miller, 82, of Mason City died Friday, June 10, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday (June 14, 2005) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., with Rev. Curtis Delong of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood ? St. Joseph?s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2005 from 5:00 ? 7:00 P.M at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the donor?s choice. Kenneth Miller was born in Milton, Wisconsin, the son of Clarence and Lillian (Poe) Miller on October 8, 1922. He attended and graduated from Manly High School in 1941. On July 29, 1956 he married Lois Bull, in Joliet, Illinois. Ken and his wife farmed until 1965 near rural Nora Springs. He then worked for Davey-Moen Construction in Mason City, until his retirement. Ken enjoyed fishing and also traveling and going on picnics with his wife Lois. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, Eagles Fraternal Order 3416, and the Labors International Union of North American Local 177. Ken is survived by his children, Kathleen and husband William of Mason City, Linda Faught of Mason City, Mike Moorehead and wife Jean of Mason City, Charlotte and husband Ted Baker of Mason City, Dan Moorehead of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; fifteen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Ken is preceded in death by his parents; wife Lois; brothers, Arlo, Wayne, and Harlan Miller; sister, Dorothy Kloberdanz; great-grandson, Danny; great-granddaughter, Cassie.
