Kenneth E. Miller, 89, of Clear Lake, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 North Fourth St., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dean Hess officiating. There will be no visitation; upon Kenny?s wishes his body will be cremated. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Hospice of North Iowa. Kenneth was born July 29, 1917 in Pine Island, Minnesota the son of Edward and Mabel (O?Dean) Miller. He was married to Geraldine Farrer on July 15, 1962 in Mason City. Kenny was a meat buyer for Fairway Foods Inc. for over 30 years until his retirement. Kenny enjoyed his employment at Target as a ?Greeter? while in his retirement. He enjoyed socializing with people, even complete strangers, and he also enjoyed children. Kenny loved the time he spent in Mora, Minnesota on Knife Lake, where he was very active in the Sportsmen?s Club. He was a member of the Zuhrah Shriners and the 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Bodies Masons and Zion Lutheran Church. Ken is survived by his wife, Geraldine Miller of Clear Lake; children, Carol Ann Miller, Linda Collins and husband Raymond, Dr. Deborah Marynak, Bruce Williams and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Tama Dixon and husband Bill, Carrie LaBorde, Mickie Jacobsen, Kellie Loberg and husband Russ, Kenny Strom and wife Liz, Stephanie Williams, Shelly Williams, and Heather Williams; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Russell Miller and wife Dorothy and Lester Miller; brother-in-law, Richard C. Farrer and many nieces, nephews, and cousins Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris Greer; sister-in-law, Pearl Miller and two grandchildren, Brenden and Shane Collins.
