Keith D. Emhoff, 70, of Sheffield, IA, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa in Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at the First Grace Baptist Church, 404 East Gilman Street - Sheffield, with Rev. Ken Livingston officiating. Interment will take place in the Sheffield Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday (August 2, 2013) at the First Grace Baptist Church. Memorials may be directed to the Keith Emhoff memorial fund in care of the family. Keith was born February 18, 1943, in Hampton, IA, the son of Clinton and Florence (Engebretson) Emhoff. Following graduation from Sheffield High School in 1961, Keith became a self-employed truck driver. Keith owned/operated Emhoff Trucking for the past 52 years. On June 14, 1964, Keith married Julie A. Shields at the Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield. Keith enjoyed working, farming, trucking, horseback riding and taking his dog “Riley” for rides in the golf cart. He also enjoyed spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren. Keith was a member of Zion St. John Lutheran Church, the Jaycees and the Central Livestock Association – where he served as a board member. He was also an Honorary Leader for the FFA and an Award Winning Shipper (#1) for numerous years. Keith is survived by his wife of 49 years: Julie Emhoff of Sheffield; 3 sons: Jon Emhoff of Sheffield, Jim Emhoff and wife Donna of Sheffield, and Chad Emhoff of Sheffield; 9 grandchildren: Jesse, Jake, Nick, Cody, Clay, Brooke and Brandon Emhoff – all of Sheffield, Hannah and Hailey Kofron of Crystal Lake, IA; and his best friend: Darwin Watt of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Sharon K. Emhoff and Karen Larsen; and his grandparents: Jim and Anna Emhoff.

Cemetery:
Interment will take place in the Sheffield Hillside Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Keith Emhoff memorial fund in care of the family.

Visitation:
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday (August 2, 2013) at the First Grace Baptist Church.

Service:
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at the First Grace Baptist Church.
