Judy L. Olthoff, 75, of Mason City died Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Bingham Township Cemetery south of Woden with Rev. S. Kim Peterson of St. John’s Lutheran Church officiating.

Judy Lorraine Olthoff, the daughter of Herman and Ina (Holland) Lester, was born September 23, 1945 at Woden. She graduated from Woden-Crystal Lake High School in 1963 and continued her education at NIACC in Mason City for nurses training. On September 6, 1963 she was married to Terry Olthoff at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Woden. They made their home in Mason City where they raised their children, Timothy and Melissa. Judy worked at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center as a nurse (LPN) for ten years, Como Photo and Target in Mason City. She enjoyed her family, needlework and listening to Elvis Presley.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Judy is survived by her son, Timothy Olthoff of Garner; daughter, Melissa Wurm of Mansfield, TX; five grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis and Donald Lester; sister, Sharon (Dean) Brandsau; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terry in 1985; and a brother, Larry Lester.
