Joan White

Mason City - Joan Wagner White, 79, died on Monday, June 22, 2009 following an extended illness at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. A private family memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Humane Society of North Iowa in her name would be appreciated. \r\n
Joan was born October 24, 1929, the day of the stock market crash, but always insisted she had nothing to do with it. . She continued to live a long and independent life in her home in Mason City, Iowa. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.\r\n
Joan is survived by her children: Elizabeth DiMarco (John DiMarco) of Mason City, IA; Thomas Douglass-White (Denise Douglass-White) of St. Croix Falls, WI and William Michael White (Anne Woodward White) of Woodbury, MN. Her grandchildren are Angie DiMarco (son Giovanni) and Greg DiMarco of Mason City, IA; Michael Douglass-White and Kelsey Douglass-White of St Croix Falls, WI and Jessica Woodward White of Sofia, Bulgaria and Benjamin Woodward White of Ft. Collins, CO. \r\n
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Francis Thomas White, mother Lucille Repass Wagner, father Ernest Howard (Dick) Wagner, brother William Repass Wagner and brother James Repass Wagner.
