Jeroldene E. Stricker, 83, of 14998 300th Street, died Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. James Magelssen officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at Major Erickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue and continue one hour before services Monday at the church. Memorials may be given to the Jeroldene Stricker Memorial Fund. Jeroldene was born June 9, 1924 in Garner, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Emma (Greiman) Goll. She was raised on a farm Southwest of Garner and graduated from Garner High School and later Hamilton Business College. Jeroldene married Ralph Stricker July 1, 1944 and they were married for 63 years. They moved to a farm near Mason City in 1955 where they continued to live and farm. Jeroldene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, church circle and the Quilters Guild. She loved to quilt and received many awards for her work. Jeroldene enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family, especially her 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Jeroldene is survived by her husband, Ralph of Mason City, 2 sons, Cary Stricker of Mason City and Kenney Stricker of Champlin, Minnesota, daughter, Cyndra Lingberg of McKinney, Texas, grandchildren, Jeffrey, Bradley, Kellie and Ryan Stricker, Kayla Vitko and Katrina Kerber, 8 great grandchildren. Jeroldene is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, and daughter-in-law, Viola ?Vi? Stricker.
