Jeanette E. Clark, 84 of Mason City died Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services for Jeanette will be held 1:30 PM, Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1405 South Pennsylvania with Rev. Bill Poland and Rev. Keith Scott officiating. Interment will be in Rockwell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 ? 7:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2004 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue. Memorials may be given to Wesley United Methodist Church. Jeanette E. Adams was born October 7, 1919 the daughter of Charles D. and Mary R. (McElroy) Adams in Belle Plain, Iowa. Her family moved to Mason City in 1936 and she graduated from Mason City High School in 1937. Jeanette went on to LaJames Beauty School and graduated in 1939. On December 19, 1939 she was united in marriage to Harold A. Clark in Northwood, Iowa. Jeanette worked for Ann Gilberts Beauty Shop and later for Tyler Ryan and Kellums making draperies. She is survived by: Daughters:Mary Carey and husband William of Rapid City, South Dakota Donna Shelton and husband Richard of Bay City, Michigan Son:Jack Clark and wife Barbara of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota Brother:Oliver Adams and wife Gladys of Mason City Sister-in-laws:Dorothy Yanney, Jane Ginapp and Marcella Clark all of Mason City Irene Clark of Las Vegas, Nevada Grandchildren:Nancy Powlowski and husband Pat of Pier, South Dakota Jon Carey and wife Brenda of Aberdeen, South Dakota Mark Carey of Rapid City, South Dakota Sara Volk and husband Steve of Rapid City, South Dakota Jason Clark and wife Audrey of New Hope, Minnesota Jeff Clark and wife Keri of Cotton, Minnesota Todd Shelton of Bay City, Minnesota Kimberly Kelly and husband Keith of Bay City, Michigan Twelve Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold on November 7, 1981; brother, Robert Adams; sister, Mrs. Lyle (Violetta) Huff; two infant sons; two infant grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
