MASON CITY: Janice A. (Kollman) Sharp, 60, of 1034 Crestmore Way, died Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday (March 13, 2007) at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1405 South Pennsylvania, with Rev. Keith Scott officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, and one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials may be directed to the Janice A. Sharp Memorial Fund. Janice Ann Sharp was born May 31, 1946 in Mason City, the daughter of LaVern and Lee (Jackson) Kollman. She graduated in 1964 from North Central High School in Manly, Iowa. She was united in marriage November 27, 1971 to Leon Ray Sharp at Wesley United Methodist Church in Mason City. Janice had worked in the banking business since 1965. She was currently employed at Community National Bank, since March 1988, where she enjoyed her co-workers and friends. Janice loved reading, gardening, and going to antique shows. Her favorite enjoyment was friends and family, and her dog Heidi. Janice is survived by her husband Leon of Mason City; two step-daughters; Dawn Merrick and husband Jim of Mason City, Lisa Pattschull and husband Ted of Mason City; two step-grandchildren, Parker Pattschull of Mason City, Meagan Merrick of Mason City; two brothers, John Kollman and friend Shelly of Burt, Iowa, Mark Kollman and friend Trisha of Osage, Iowa; many nieces and nephews.
