Henrietta F. Muth

Henrietta Fern Muth, 82, of Rockwell, formerly of Clear Lake, died Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Rockwell Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N Pennsylvania Ave. with pastor Sid Bohls of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mason City, officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Major Erickson Funeral Home, And from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to funeral services. A private interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Henrietta Muth Memorial fund in care of David Muth, P.O. Box 42, McCallsburg, IA 50154. Henrietta was born August 5, 1932 to Harold and Lois (Millard) Long. She graduated from Rockwell High School and later attended Wartburg College. Henrietta was united in marriage to Orville H. Muth on August 10, 1952. She worked in the banking industry for 25 years before her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Wa Tan Ye club, and was a Lioness. Henrietta is survived by her husband of 62 years, Orville, 3 children: David (Donna) Muth of McCallsburg, IA; Dale (Mary) Muth, of Mason City; Kathryn (Kevin) Cheney of Mason City; 5 grandchildren: Brian, Sheri, Matthew, Jacinda, and Nicole; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
