Harriet Fellom

Harriet L. Fellom, 78 of Mason City died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City. Funeral services for Harriet will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 22, 2004 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue with the Rev. Sarah Rohret Odoom of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa or Grace United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Harriet L. Coziah was born March 30, 1926 the daughter of Chester A. and Leta L. (Jones) Coziah in Cherokee, Iowa. She graduated from Cherokee High School and moved to Mason City in 1943. On February 20, 1946, Harriet was united in marriage to Darrell E. Fellom in Cherokee, Iowa. She worked for Prudential Insurance Company in Mason City for twelve years as a senior service manager and retired in February of 1983. Harriet was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, church circle, P.T.A. and the Rainbow Girls. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Mark Fellom and wife Joan of Mason City, David Fellom and wife Rebecca of Norfolk, Virginia; sister, Donna Baumgartner of Britt; two grandchildren, Garrett and Craig Fellom both of Spokane, Washington and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, Chester and Leta and her husband Darrell, preceded her in death.
