Harold L. Worley, 70, of 54 Sunny Circle, died Monday (September 1, 2003) at home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1405 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Bill Poland officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, and continue at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be given to the Harold L. Worley Memorial Fund. Harold was born August 22, 1933 near Dougherty, Iowa the son of Clarence and Minnie (Weigand) Worley. He graduated from Greene High School. He enlisted in the US Army and was later honorably discharged. Harold married Donna K. Shields December 27, 1955 in Rockwell. He was employed at Interstate Power Company for over 40 years. Harold was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and spending time with his grandchildren. Harold is survived by his daughter; Sally Heuberger and husband John of Sheffield, Son-in-law; Scott Montgomery of St. Mary?s, IA, Grandchildren; Ryan and Shannon Montgomery of St. Mary?s, Katie and Josh Heuberger of Sheffield, 5 Sisters and 1 Brother; Geraldine Winfield and husband Barney of Le Roy, MN, Dorothy Paulus and husband Arlyn of Sedro-Woolley, WA, Lola Paulus of Charles City, Mary Lou Levenhagen and husband Loren of Mason City, William Worley and wife Jackie of Greene, Kay Schafer of Dougherty, many nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by wife, Donna who died October 29, 2001 and daughter, Vicki who died February 15, 1998.
