Freda P. Clausen, 84 of Waterloo and formerly of Mason City died in Waterloo Tuesday, October 5, 2004. Graveside services for Freda will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 8, 2004 at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City with the Rev. Jerry Miller of the First Church of the Open Bible, Waterloo, Iowa officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue, before proceeding to Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery for the graveside service. The family requests no memorials or floral arrangements. Freda P. Gorham was born February 15, 1920 the daughter of Oliver E. and Myrtle M. (Connett) Gorham in Huron, South Dakota. She attended school in the Mason City area. Freda was united in marriage to Ronald ?Don? Clausen on February 10, 1946 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Freda will be remembered for unselfishly giving of herself and helping to meet the needs of others. She was also a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, R. Mark Clausen and wife Sharon of Mason City, Francine Miller and husband Jerry of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Adam Clausen of Madison, Wisconsin, Kaylinn Clausen of Mason City, David Miller and wife Krisann of Des Moines, Becki Johnson and husband Jeff of Waterloo, Jonhathan Miller and wife Christin of Stephens City, Virginia and Matthew Miller and wife Nicole of Dayton, Ohio; Eleven Great Grandchildren and one sister, Darlene Maul of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Don in 1984; sisters, Lela Daggett, Jessie Franzen, Wava Elbert and one brother Melvin Gorham.
