MASON CITY:  Everett William Jurgemeyer, 81, of Mason City, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Heritage Care Center.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM,  Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 301 S. Main Street, Ventura, IA with Pastor Daird Korth officiating..  Visitation will be from 5PM 7PM, Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City, and continue one hour prior at the church.  Interment will be at the Concord Cemetery in Garner, IA. Everett William Jurgemeyer was born March 5, 1926 in rural Garner, IA, the son of William and Anna (Sandersfeld) Jurgemeyer.  He was the youngest of four children.  Everett was baptized as an infant and confirmed as a youth at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Garner.  At the time of his death, he was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ventura. Everett served his country in the United States Army from 1945 to 1947.  On May 18, 1948, he married Marjorie Hartbeck.  He farmed in the Garner area until 1958 when they moved to a farm in the Rockwell area.  In 1983, they moved to Mason City and Everett continued farming with his son until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie, of Mason City and their five children:  Kathryn Berrill of Colorado Springs, CO, Karen (Paul) Schultz of White Bear Lake, MN, William (Karon) Jurgemeyer of Rockwell, IA, Barbara (Lowell) Heintz of North St. Paul, MN, and Jacqueline Thomson of Menomonee Falls, WI.; 13 grandchildren:  Mark and Eric Berrill, Jason and Stephen Schultz, Thomas, Jodi and Brittany Jurgemeyer, Andrew, Samuel, Jessica and Joshua Heintz, and Kevin and Stephanie Thomson; Sisters-in-law:  Gladys Jurgemeyer of Garner, Lucille Jurgemeyer of Garner, Esther Seims of Marshalltown, and Miriam Fritzmeier of Muskegon, MI.  He is also survived by 5 nephews and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Jurgemeyer; two brothers:  Alfred and Louis; one sister:  Ruth Bachman; and a niece:  Elaine Weaver.

Concord Cemetery, Garner Iowa.

Tuesday, January 29, 2008 5pm-7pm at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Ave. Mason City, IA 50401

Service:
Wednesday, January 30, 2008 1:30pm with visitation one hour before, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 301 S. Main Street Ventura IA.
