Ethel M. Jacot

Ethel M. Jacot, 99 of Mason City died Sunday, October 9, 2005 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Private family services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Jim Stiles of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ethel was born April 4, 1906 the daughter of George and Anna (Halls) Stevens in rural Verdigre, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Adolph D. Jacot on July 19, 1923 in Winnetoon, Nebraska. Survivors include her children, Robert V. Jacot and wife Darlene of St. Ansgar and Lola Yelland of Sheffield. Ethel is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeff Yelland and wife Teresa of Centerville, Dan Yelland and wife Connie of Sheffield, Sue Ralston and husband Steve of Waterloo, Pam Ingham and husband Tracy of Rockford, Janice Luhrs and husband David of Forestville, Wisconsin and Carol Pahl and husband Norman of St. Ansgar; great grandchildren, Josh Yelland, Kelly McAllister and husband Doug, Todd Yelland and wife Wendy, Ian Ralston and wife Danielle, Emmy Ralston, Allison Koleno, Jessica Kolena, Torin Ingham, Trista Ingham, Karl Luhrs and wife Melissa, Ryan Luhrs, Karla Doty and husband Jay, Laura Pahl, Genean Bohl and husband Jon, and Jonathan Pahl; great great grandchildren, Andrew McAllister, Cayden McAllister, Dustin Yelland, Makena Yelland, Cole Doty, Daniel Bohl and Kimberly Bohl. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Stevens, husband A. D. Jacot, three brothers and three sisters.
