RAYMONDVILLE, TX: Dorothy Wolff, 84, of Raymondville, TX, formerly of Mason City, died Saturday, October 4, 2008, at the Solara Hospital in Harlingen, TX. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church WAYside Chapel, 110 S. Georgia, with Rev. Jim Stiles officiating. There will be a gathering of friends and family one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers Association. Dorothy Wolff was born on April 5, 1924 in Mitchell, SD the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Alberta) Kirkpatrick. She attended school in Mitchell, South Dakota and graduated in 1942. She was married to Walter Wolff on September 5, 1950 in Mitchell, SD. They moved to Mason City in 1952 where her husband started the Wolff Typewriter Co. which he ran until his death in 1983. After his death Dorothy ran the business until 1990.She enjoyed oil painting, sketching, and water color painting. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Dorothy was a member of the Wa Tan Ye Club in Mason City, White Shrine #6 and the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Doug Wolff of Wadena. MN; daughter, Becky Wolff of Harlingen, TX; grandson, Bryce Wolff; sister, Mary Jones of Mitchell, SD, and many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter in 1983; one sister, Elizabeth Steptoe; and one brother, John.

Memorials:
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers Association.

Cemetery:
Inurnment will be held at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation:
There will be a gathering of friends and family one hour prior to the service.
