Donna B. Marshall, 79, of 1230 Plymouth Road, died Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. James Magelssen officiating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Madison, Wisconsin. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Donna B. Marshall Memorial Fund. Donna was born April 18, 1927 in Madison, Wisconsin the daughter of Frank and Anna (Nisalke) Bergunde. She graduated from West High School in Madison. Donna went on to attend the University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating with a BA degree and later her MA. She moved to Mason City in 1952. Donna worked many years as a speech pathologist for the Mason City School District. Following her retirement, she helped students receive their GED at North Iowa Area Community College as well as the Beje Clark Residential Center. Donna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, PEO Chapter KW, T.T.T. CM, Serosis Study Club, Delta Delta Delta Sorority at the University of Wisconsin and various Bridge clubs. Donna enjoyed golf, traveling and being with her friends. Donna is survived by a daughter, Christine Anderson and husband Gary of Lakeview, Minnesota; son, R.J. ?Skip? Marshall Jr. and wife Marcia of Geneva, Illinois; 2 grandchildren, Lindsey and Samuel Marshall. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John E. Bergunde; niece, Claire Bergunde Maggass
