Dona Sticha

Dona J.Sticha, 55, of Mason City, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 at her home. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Friday (March 2, 2007) at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Pastor Tom Healey with Hospice of North Iowa officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Dona J. Sticha Memorial Fund. Dona J. True, daughter of James and Shirley (Runger) Moor, was born March 18, 1951 in Mason City, Iowa. Dona loved children and was an excellent cook. She had a flare for interior design, and enjoyed floral arrangements. Dona is survived by her daughter: Daunelle Hughes and her husband Jason of Des Moines, IA; one granddaughter: Lauren Hughes of Des Moines; two brothers: Mike True of Mason City, and Paul Moor and his wife Barb of Northern Iowa; two sisters: Linda Fraser and her husband Troy of Swaledale, IA and Shelia Harding and her husband Jim of Hampton, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dona was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter: Jayme Sticha.
