Diana M. Rozen Lomas

August 8, 1961 — July 12, 2008

MASON CITY Diana M. Rozen Lomas, 46, of Mason City, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Father Kenneth Gehling officiating.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2008 at Major Erickson Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the Diana Lomas memorial fund.
Diana was born August 8, 1961 in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Patrick and Dolores (Pontenberg) Rozen.  She graduated from Mason City High School in 1979.  During the early 1980s she lived in Dallas, Texas where she met her husband Guy Lomas.  They married in Mason City in 1984 and had one daughter, Jennifer in April of 1986. 
Diana was always strong in sales and proud of it.  Starting the Perfumery out of her home, she moved the business downtown in the mid 1990s.  She has always worked in sales and retail.  Diana was currently working as store manager for the American Eagle Outfitters in Mason City.  She was very proud of her position, her sales team and the stores positive reputation with customers and the company.
Diana was most proud of her family, especially the job she did raising Jen.  She was always the one to plan the barbecue and feed as many people as she could. Her door was always open and she loved having people at her house. Diana had close relationships with her siblings and took dear care of her mom who died in 2006.
Diana is survived by her daughter Jennifer Lomas  and fiancée Matt Cmelik, brothers, Michael Rozen and wife Trudy , of Shakopee, Minn., Tim Rozen and wife Beth of Mason City and Patrick Rozen and wife Jesse of Mason City; sisters Deborah Garner, of Atlanta, Ga. and Mary Epsteen of Los Angeles, Calif. and many niece and nephews.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Thomas Garner III.
