Deloris M. Kittleson

Deloris M. Kittleson, 76, of Mason City, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Memorial services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, October 5, 2009 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Pastor Paul Nelson, St. James Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth. A gathering of family will friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday at Major Erickson Funeral Home. A Women of the Moose service will be held 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Deloris Kittleson Memorial Fund.

Deloris M. Kittleson, 76, of Mason City, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Deloris was born August 29, 1933 in Mason City the daughter of Luttie (Dale) and Dorothy (Ashlock) Birch. Deloris graduated from Mason City High School. She married Nels L. Kittleson November 27, 1954 in Mason City. Deloris worked for the Bowen Corporation as a secretary and would later work for the Moose Lodge here in Mason City. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and loved to be social. The Kittleson family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Sandra Servantez and Cindy Brierly. Deloris is survived by her son, Bruce (Michele) Kittleson of Osage; grandchildren, Jonathan, Megan, Jake, Cody, Travis, and Rosalie and 1 brother, Gary (Joyce) Birch of Garner. Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Nels; daughter, Tammie; son, Brad and brother, Ronnie.
