Deanna Lee ?Dee? Keough, 65 of Mason City died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 419 North Delaware, Mason City with the Rev. Mark Lavrenz officiating. Burial will be in St. John?s Cemetery, in rural Garner. Visitation for Dee will be held 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 11, 2003 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue, Mason City. Dee was born April 8, 1938 in San Francisco, California the daughter of Julia (Bradley) Bray. She attended school in Webster City, Iowa and graduated from Webster City High School. On September 22, 1984 Dee was united in marriage to Richard ?Dick? Keough Sr. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mason City. Dee was a long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a 33 year resident of Mason City. She retired from Holcim Cement Company as a Lab Technician in 2000 after 23 years of employment. Dee was known for her exquisite talent of crocheting. She enjoyed spending time planting flowers and taking care of her garden. Dee loved to camp and especially enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Waterville, Minnesota where she spent many hours fishing and visiting with her neighbors around the cabin. She always had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren whom she loved so much. Dee always made it a point to ensure that each and every holiday was a special one. Those left to cherish her memory are: Husband: Richard ?Dick? Keough Sr. of Mason City 4 Daughters: Cindy Hansen of Des Moines, Iowa Susie English of Mason City Lori Wiarda and husband Robin Bathke of Plymouth Debarah Debose of Arlington, Texas 1 Step Son:Richard Keough Jr. of Fresno, California Special Family Friends: Holly and Nick Mennen of Mason City 1 Sister:Lynn Stewart of Portland, Oregon 1 Brother:Charles Coulter and wife Liz of Mucatine, Iowa Grandchildren: Ben, Barron, Bethany & Barry Hansen; Josh English; Shea & Tayla Wiarda; Elisha, Olivia, Demitrious & Hamilton Debose; Crystal, Christopher & Kyle Keough She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Bray and step-father Charles Bray and her father, Harold Coulter.
