Beth A. Hofman, 46, of 10 Ridge Road NE, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. A funeral mass will be held 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, 302 5th Street SE with Rev. Harry Koelker and Rev. David Kucera officiating. Inurnment services will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. A scriptural wake service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. Beth was born June 4, 1960 in Hoven, South Dakota the daughter of Oscar and Anna Marie (Rausch) Roesler. She graduated from Hoven High School then attended Black Hills State College in Spearfish, South Dakota. Beth married Hal Hofman September 25, 1982 in Hoven. The Hofmans moved to Mason City in 1997. Beth had a deep faith and thoroughly enjoyed serving her church, St. Joseph?s Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering and was a proud mother of her two boys, Jeremy and Adam. Beth is survived by her husband, Hal of Mason City; 2 sons, Jeremy of Ames, Adam of Mason City; parents, Oscar and Anna Marie Roesler of Hoven, SD; brothers and sisters, Dan Roesler and wife Marcy of Mobridge, SD, Ron Roesler and wife Maria of Mobridge, SD, Deb Libis and husband Dave of Mott, ND, Mary Scherr and husband Randy of Ghent, MN, Dave Roesler and wife Charlotte of Salem, SD, Carol VanDusen and husband Troy of Watertown, SD, Connie Aymar and husband Dwight of Miller, SD; mother and father-in-law, Harold and Barb Hofman of Beresford, SD; brother-in-law, Steve Hofman and wife Mary of Madison, SD; sister-in-law, Cindy Wockenfuss of Crete, NE, many nieces and nephews. Beth was preceded in death by her grandparents.
