Benny Stricker, 75 of Mason City died Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota. Funeral services for Benny will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. James M. Magelssen officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M ? 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to Mercy Cancer Center. Benny was born February 11, 1928 the son of Dave and Katie Stricker in rural Mason City. He attended rural school in Mason City. Benny worked for Northwestern States Portland Cement Company in Mason City. He was united in marriage to Mary Kay Brown on November 8, 1963 in Glenville, Minnesota. They have enjoyed 40 wonderful years of marriage together. Benny retired from Northwestern States Portland Cement Company in 1990. He loved to hunt and fish in his younger years. Benny spent many hours meticulously caring for his yard and garden which were his pride and joy. Benny will always be a farmer at heart. He and his wife have been members of Trinity Lutheran Church for over 40 years. Benny is survived by: Wife:Mary Kay Stricker of Mason City Son:Terry Stricker and wife Deanne of Elizabeth, Colorado Daughter: Cathy Parmer and husband Rod of Arvada, Colorado Daughter: Elizabeth Allen and husband Don of Mason City Grandchildren:Bryan, Benjamin and Carrie Stricker of Elizabeth, Colorado Hilary Dempsey and husband Jack of Thorton, Colorado Avery and Kamryn Allen of Mason City Sister:Thelma Purviance of Clear Lake Brothers:Dave Stricker Jr. of Mason City Ralph Stricker of Mason City Harold Stricker of Orchard, Iowa Father-in-law:Max C. Brown of Nevis, Minnesota Many Nieces, Nephews, and in-laws He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Leah Hage, brother, Ronald Stricker and mother-in-law, Kay Brown
