MASON CITY ? Arlene A. (Miller) Goehring, 84 of Mason City died Monday, March 14, 2005 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Jo Frahm ? Watkins of First United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment will held at 2:30 PM on Thursday in the LuVerne Cemetery in Lu Verne. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa. Arlene was born on January 16, 1921 the daughter of Arthur and Thelma (Thompson) Miller in Renwick, Iowa. She attended school in Lu Verne and graduated from Lu Verne High School. Arlene attended NIACC and graduated from the nurse?s training program. She worked for many years at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa and retired in 1985. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jan Wilkinson and husband Tom of Dows, Susan Goehring of Phoenix, Arizona; granddaughters, Shawna Pedelty and her children, Brandon, Samantha and Breanna all of Mason City, Stacie Till and husband Greg and their children, Alyssa, Emily and Kayla, all of Mason City, and Jeri Ann Foreman and husband Scott and their children, Ashley, Nate White, Lillian and Chase all of Hampton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Craig and Dennis, a sister, Donna O?Nan and one brother, Richard Miller.
