MASON CITY: Ann A. Morrison, 79, of Mason City, died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Good Shepherd Health Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Avenue with Rev. Dan Gerrietts officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood, IA. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 P.M Monday, October 4, 2010 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Memorials may be given to the Anna A. Morrison Memorial Fund in care of the family. Ann was born December 2, 1930 in Manly, Iowa the daughter of Emil and Nellie (Anderson) Kober. She graduated from Mason City Schools and then attended the Nursing program at Mercy Hospital, attaining her nursing degree. She was married to Walton B. Morrison on May 12, 1952 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City, to this union two sons were born, Robert and William. She worked for the Clear Lake Medical Group form 1951 until her retirement in 1995. Ann was very active with her sons activities and was a Cub Scout den mother and a Sunday school teacher. Ann loved to travel and took many family vacations through the years; one of her most recent trips was with one of her nieces to New York City. She was an active and faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. Ann loved her grandchildren and family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ann is survived by her two sons, Robert Bob Morrison and fianc Cheryl of Mason City, William Bill Morrison and wife Mary of Mason City; grandchildren, Matthew Morrison and wife Nicole of Grimes, IA, Katherine Morrison of Iowa City, IA and Christine, Emily and Leah Morrison of Mason City; sister-in-law, Marion Kober of Mason City and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walton B. Morrison in 1995 and brother, Jerry Kober.

Memorials:
Memorials may be given to the Anna A. Morrison Memorial Fund in care of the family.

Cemetery:
Interment will be in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood, IA.

Visitation:
Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 P.M Monday, October 4, 2010 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave.

Service:
